Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address, including when you sign in with Google.
• Trip content. The trips, itineraries, notes, and costs you create, as well as the photos, emails, and documents you upload or forward to us so we can extract booking details from them.
• Usage and diagnostics. Basic usage and diagnostic information that helps us keep the App running reliably.
• On-device data. Some of your data is cached on your device so you can access your trips offline.

How we use your information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the App.
• To use AI to extract bookings from the photos and emails you provide.
• To use AI to generate trip itineraries you request.
• To power the Claude / MCP connection so you can access your trips through it.
• To send trip reminder emails you've enabled.
• To provide flight status information and connection alerts.
• For security, fraud prevention, and to comply with legal obligations.

How we share your information

We share information with third-party processors only as needed to provide the App. These include:

• Base44 — hosting and backend infrastructure.
• Google — sign-in.
• Our AI provider — parsing booking details and generating itineraries.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — place autocomplete.
• Our email provider — sending reminder emails.
• AeroDataBox — flight data.
• Stripe — payments.

We do not sell your personal data.

Some sharing is user-initiated: if you invite collaborators to a trip, or create a public share link or PDF export, the trip content you choose to share becomes accessible to the people you share it with.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. We may retain certain information as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page in the App. Deleting your account removes your access; we then delete or de-identify your associated personal data, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@caprilabs.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We and our processors may store and process your information in the United States and other countries. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
